Liz Fultz's Approach

My practice is strongly influenced by my use of Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), an evidenced based widely used modality for treatment of trauma that taps into the wisdom of the body to promote integration of past traumatic memories. My practice is also influenced and informed by techniques and concepts from the Polyvagal Theory (Safe and Sound Protocol), IFS (Internal Family Systems), EFIT (Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy) and other mindfulness and body based theories. These powerful techniques are designed to help you process and heal from traumatic experiences, allowing you to move forward in life with greater clarity and peace of mind. In our sessions, we’ll work together to identify the underlying issues that are impacting your well-being, and we’ll develop strategies to help you reclaim control of your life. My goal is to empower you to face your challenges head-on with an improved sense of empowerment and self-awareness, knowing that you have the tools and support you need to overcome them.

Welcome to my virtual space at Good Company! I’m Liz,and I’m excited to be able to offer you telehealth services to support you on your healing journey from the comfort of your own home or wherever is convenient for you. We are busy people and often the consistency that is offered by virtual therapy can produce better results than inconsistent in person sessions.

I’m passionate about helping my clients with:

  • PTSD, C-PTSD, Trauma
  • Early attachment wounds

My work is centered around EMDR and EMDA, therapeutic approaches that have proven to be effective in treating trauma-related conditions. Through our telehealth sessions, you’ll have the opportunity to engage in these therapies from a space that’s comfortable and familiar to you.

My practice is grounded in the belief that healing is a process but that the end result of that process is always worth it: a fully integrated, whole person who is able to use their experiences for the betterment of themselves and others. One of my favorite quotes by Brene Brown is “One day you will tell your story, and it will be someone else’s survival guide”. When you are ready, I’d love to connect with you virtually. Whether you’re near or far, we can work together to create meaningful change in your life.

For more information or to schedule a session, please contact Good Company directly through our website or give us a call at (309) 222-8315. I’m here to support you, wherever you are.

Looking forward to working with you,
Liz
